Abstract

Latar Belakang & Tujuan: ASI eksklusif merupakan komponen yang sangat penting dalam kehidupan bayi dan memiliki banyak manfaat bagi ibu maupun bayi. Keberhasilan pemberian ASI eksklusif yang dilakukan oleh ibu postpartum tidak terlepas dari self-efficacy ibu dalam menyusui. Banyak faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi keberhasilan ibu dalam kegiatan menyusui, salah satunya adalah self-efficacy. Self-efficacy dalam menyusui adalah rasa percaya diri ibu dalam pemberian ASI yang dapat memprediksi keputusan ibu untuk mau memberikan ASI secara eksklusif atau tidak.
Metode: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi self-efficacy pada ibu postpartum dalam keberhasilan pemberian ASI eksklusif pada bayi dengan menggunakan metode scoping review berdasarkan Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyze Extensions for Scoping Reviews (PRISMA) melalui database Pubmed, Cochrane dan Wiley Online Library.
Hasil: Ada 8 artikel yang didapatkan dari total 582 artikel penelitian yang memenuhi kriteria inklusi dan menyatakan bahwa pengetahuan ibu tentang ASI eksklusif, pengalaman menyusui, dukungan keluarga, dukungan tenaga kesehatan, dan peer support/ kelompok intervensi menjadi faktor yang mempengaruhi self-efficacy ibu dalam menyusui.
Kesimpulan: ASI sangat penting dalam peningkatan kesejahteraan kesehatan karena memiliki asupan nutrisi yang cukup dan seimbang bagi bayi. Banyak faktor yang berkontribusi terhadap rendahnya jumlah ibu yang menyusui secara eksklusif, salah satunya adalah self-efficacy. Self-efficacy dapat ditingkatkan dengan adanya pengetahuan ibu mengenai ASI eksklusif, pengalaman menyusui sebelumnya, dukungan keluarga, dukunga tenaga kesehatan maupun dari peer support/ kelompok intervensi.
